A Really Good Home Away From Home
The integrity of the staff with/for my husband and for us, his family, is hard to beat. They are well equipped to handle the situations that may arise with his care. I have not had a meal there, but it always looks good and healthy, hence no number.

At last, residents with different cognitive levels and abilities can thrive in a safe and calming environment, here at Brookdale Trail Ridge. The community encompasses a single-story floor plan with state-of-the-art safety features like circular paths, way-finding cues, secured entrances and exits, and an enclosed garden and courtyard. Plus, the staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to an emergency.
Here, each resident can look forward to custom memory care programming through the Clare Bridge or Solace programs. Brookdale’s memory care programs boost social connections, encourage the use of residents' skills, and provide grooming assistance. Aside from care and safety features, the residents benefit from assistance with housekeeping, transportation, home maintenance, trash removal, and meal preparation. The concierge service, postal services, and beauty/barber shop are also designed to simplify residents' days on-site.

The facility was a good place. It was very clean. The staff wasn't extremely friendly at first, but they warmed up to us. Mom was a tough cookie, but they got to know her and took good care of her. We were very happy with the care she received here. Communication with the family was good, they called often. Housekeeping was great and her room was always very clean and smelled good. The food seemed ok. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Tour experience
The demographics were just not a good fit. The facility is older and more run down and when we came to tour it smelled really bad which I know is not their fault. We had a residents following us around and yelling and no one was tending to him. They showed a shared room and there was a weird wall in between which makes sense but it took up so much space that you do not have any room to put anything in there and make it feel homey. The private rooms they showed us were even smaller.

Highly recommend
We chose Brookdale Trail Ridge because they already have all tech if we need it and it was very nice when we visited, everyone was friendly. The room sizes are adequate for what she needs. She really enjoys the food that is served here, they are prepared on site. I would recommend to others looking.

The community is very clean but they don't do a lot for the residence. this is a memory care facility but I feel I would not recommend this community at the moment to others. like they need to provide more care for the residence.

Care for mom
We toured this community. The staff was nice and able to answer the questions that we had. We did not like the environment of the layout. We liked that they did have some activities. I would recommend that families tour the community for the care of a loved one's needs.

It Is A Good Community
My step dad is staying at this community and so far all is going well. He is having a good time there and seems to be doing good. They have been 5 stars all in all.

Older Property !!
This property out of all the different ones I had looked at for my mother in law was probably on the bottom of the list. I have no major complaints but everything was just okay. It looked like they have not done any updating in some time and everything seemed to be old. They where also very full and had no availability for my mother.

Place is Awesome!!
We are very happy so far! Staff is very nice, lots of activities. My aunt is making friends lots of residents for her to speak with. The community had a St. Patrick's day celebration for the residents and their families. We loved it! The food was great, no complaints. They also provided activities for the residents on Easter Sunday. Overall we are pleased with our choice.

Met w/Shartel, really nice...
Met w/Shartel on 12/3, really nice facility, looks tidy, smells good, staff friendly & residents seemed calm but not drugged, spoke with a few residents and they were in good spirits, I missed seeing a meal or activity but saw the locations for each are well thought out, currently have no openings but only 1 on the waiting list so a possibility for us

Very Institutionalized
It seemed like they were more progressive type of care. They're more community related, more institutionalized type of settings with employed staff. Brick and mortar type of setting. It didn't feel like sleeping over with someone there to help you because you knew them. More like 24 hour type of care. I was looking more at the memory care unit. It seemed like it was a very controlled atmosphere and I didn't want to take away too much control from my mother at that point.
