Our Experience
My loved one was previously a resident at Coventry Place and the overall experience was very good. The staff and care services were good. The cleanliness and friendliness were good, as well. If someone's price range fits this facility, I would say that it is a good choice.

This community is proud to be family owned and operated. This is evident in our commitment to our residents, staff and families. We are flexible, able to adapt to what our families desire while maintaining the sense of community that is important to our staff and families. We will not sacrifice services and will not price families out of their homes! We are Decatur’s affordable full-service community.
Coventry Place was created in 1987 by a few business leaders in the Atlanta area.
We have an active, pet friendly, full-service, senior living community for residents over 55 where everyone is family. Our residents enjoy a maintenance free lifestyle with full-service amenities including: restaurant style dining, activity and resident gathering spaces, a full calendar of activities and events, a television lounge, library, beauty salon, convenience store on site, transportation and a peaceful patio garden complete with a pet walking area.

Coventry Place is the ideal place for my family member
The staff GENUINELY cares about me, my family's situation, and my family member. They checked in regularly. They made accommodations. They helped us with move in. They welcomed my family member to activities before she moved in. They listened to our concerns and made sure they were abundantly addressed. The fellow residents are so kind and welcoming. The level of care is so personalized, I feel comfortable that my family member is getting the best care possible. I sleep better knowing my family member is with the people at Coventry Place.

This community has different levels of care and support. Listened to our needs and have been willing to adjust according to my mother's needs. They have been very supportive and up front with what they are able to offer. So far so good.

The entire staff at Coventry Place have been very kind and very accommodating to me and to my friend, who now lives there. They have bent over backwards to provide my friend the help that he needs. I cannot say enough about how nice Coventry Place has been to my friend, who has memory loss. They are taking good care of him. I would recommend Coventry Place to others.

My loved one is currently a resident at Coventry Place and everything about his experience at this facility has been good so far. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The housekeeping does a really good job. Communication with the family is good, they are very good about communicating anything that needs to be passed along to us. The move in process was very easy. My loved one says that the food is good. Overall, I would recommend Coventry Place to others.

Life at Coventry Place
I love it here at Coventry Place! Everyone is nice. I feel very comfortable. The staff is a nice bunch of people, they're excellent. I do not have any complaints. This facility is a nice fit for me. I'm pretty independent, but help is available when needed. The food is good, you can substitute if you prefer. The activities are great, we always have something to do. This is the first Assisted Living place I've ever lived in. After talking to some of the other residents here, I'd say I believe that I made a perfect choice. Overall, I am well pleased!

Great Choice!
Everyone, staff and residents, are so kind and friendly at Coventry Place! They maintain communication with the family with any concerns, as well as get back to you in a timely manner. The housekeeping is acceptable with my Independent Living room. They vacuum for me every Friday. Honestly, the meals could be improved. They will box and hold, or even deliver, your meals to your room if you're unable to attend in the dining facility for whatever reason. I would most DEFINITELY recommend this facility to others.

Overall I think it is a very nice place and I would recommend them.
The only areas that they could use room for improvement would be with the activities and the food, but I think that is true of most places because of how many people they have to feed. I think they could have healthier options for the residents to choose from.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour experience was really good, it would of been a great second choice for our loved one. We will say for what they were offering in terms of meal plans it was going to be more expensive, and when we toured another community the residents were participating in so many activities and here it just seemed a little more quiet.

Based off of our tour experience, I would not recommend this place.
The lady who was showing us around seemed to be in charge of absolutely everything, it looked like she did all of the jobs. I am sure there were other people there, but we did not see anyone.
I did not get that warm and fuzzy feeling that we were looking for. In our opinion, it was not worth the money for what you got either.

Everybody has been very nice and welcoming. The biggest problem we have had has been with their TV service. They say it is the weather causing problems, but we have big issues with it working. I do think that they could improve on the food too. Overall though we have been happy with the experience. I would recommend Coventry Place to others looking, when the time comes I would even move here myself.

They could work to improvement on a few things - the first is hiring an activities director. That is desperately needing to get done. The meals need improvements as well, the quality of the food is very low.

A good fit for dad
We chose Coventry Place because of what he was able to get for the money that it would cost as well as location. The apartment sizes here are nice and roomy. Overall, it has been a good experience so far and I would recommend.
