The staff cares about what you do, the sweet activity director does a good job! We always have fun activities and friendly residents. The community is clean all the time and the staff makes sure we have are meals everyday. I honestly love home!

I'm a fairly new resident at the Gardens and the transition was very smooth. [name removed], the marketing Director was magnificent, he made the impossible possible and it was very thorough. The community has great activities throughout the day. We have chair volleyball daily, bingo, karaoke, arts and crafts, Spanish classes and now I will be teaching French to the residents as since I'm French.

For me the Terraces is the next best thing to home, because I have all my needs made which is 3 meals a day, house keeping assistance with showers and other personal care. I also, love all the activities, we play like charades, bingo, I enjoy the weekly entertainment and bigger events like prom is something different. I’m looking forward to the summer Luau since my granddaughter and great grand soon are coming to it.

A lot of the activities with friendly people. My favorite activities is let's make cocktails, social café with [name removed] which is every other Thursday and we discuss general topics in the world with other residents. We also play jeopardy and cards 3 times a week.

My house keeper is amazing she is so friendly and always good at what she does. The front desk staff is always kindly and willing to help me when is needed. The food is great and the kitchen staff is amazing. I have no complaints they get you what you want & need. 10/10

Everybody in my community makes me feel like I'm home! The residents are sweet, the staff is so nice to me! I get excellent care everyday. The front desk people are lovely, every time I go for a walk the staff says nice things to me. Lovely lovely place, and my room is always clean and shiny.

The staff is wonderful, very kind and understanding. The activities are fun, we constantly have different activities. The caregivers are great, the residents are very nice and some aren't but a big percentage of the residents are lovely. Great place with good people.

I love living at the Gardens at Park Balboa, we always have great food, multiple activities and friendly staff. The activity director is very friendly and The social media director is so helpful and kind. I recommend living at the Gardens. You won't regret it.

I used to live in my own apartment by myself, until I had trouble doing things on my own. I love the convenience of the terraces. I don’t have to cook or clean. Their activities are engaging, especially the floral arranging, jeopardy, and holiday socials.

The staff at The Gardens really take care of their residents. My mom has told me several times that she feels safe there and everyone is friendly. If she needs anything, all she has to do is ask. The fact that she can also have her two cats there is such a blessing. She's eating well and getting all her medications given to her properly. They encourage the activities daily, but she can opt out if she wants.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. My loved one seems very happy here. This is a smaller and more quaint and has a good value compared to the other communities we looked at. The residents seem very well cared for. The staff communication with the family is very good. There is weekly housekeeping including laundry for the residents. Some of the care offered includes medication management, dressing and bathing assistance.

I recently moved to the Gardens at Park Balboa in Van Nuys California and I have to tell you, the seasonings and spices on the food are just right. The dessert are good but I like the whole meals better. The staff cares about residents, and is always extremely friendly. Lovely community!

I love the freedom in the dining room, I could easily get a drink from the soda machine. I also love the gardens, we have plenty of greenery. The staff is very friendly (Good overall).

The dining room always opens its doors before the actual time! Which is great when your hungry. Plus the good is always warm and delicious. The caregivers and servers are fairly nice.

After months of living at the Terraces, I have to say everything it's perfect. Such as the food, the cleaning ladies, the caregivers and residents. Honestly, I really appreciate all the help I get everyday. I love it here!

The managers are very professional, polite and with good sense of humor. The dining room is always clean, the food is great. The dining room is also very comfortable and pleasant.
