About the facility Global Pointe Senior Living
Global Pointe Senior Living is a delightful community filled with modern elegance in the suburban area of Golden Valley, Minnesota. Since this suburb is just west of the large city of Minneapolis, the community is within 10 miles of multiple hospitals.
The community offers a continuum of care with services for independent living, assisted living, memory care, and respite care. Additionally, the community provides enhanced care for seniors who need more assistance than assisted living services. Following an assessment, all residents receive personalized care plans that cater to their individual care needs. This care is provided around the clock by professional caregivers, resident assistances, and nurses.
In addition to quality care, Global Pointe Senior Living offers spacious apartments accompanied by on-site amenities. Residents can choose between studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments — all of which have emergency call systems. While living at Global Pointe Senior Living, residents have access to multiple luxuries, such as a rooftop veranda, a pub, an art studio, a library, a movie theater, a beauty salon and spa, and a wellness center. Very helpful and friendly staff
I work with many downsizing seniors. This is a beautiful building and [name removed] and the staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely care about making this feel like home. It is a great location and easy for families from all over the city to access.

The community is small and very friendly. I am 75 and most of the residents are in their 80's and 90's. There is limited shuttle bus service-once every 2 weeks. Food is mediocre. Washer/Dryers are in each room. Our fees increased 10% for 2023; don't know what it will be for 2024.

I'm in Independent Living, so I still cook my own meals. The facility is beautiful, the staff is great, and the residents care about each other. There are tons of activites. My children are thrilled that I am taking advantage of many fun things.

I've been here for almost 3 years. I'm happy and like the facility. I workout daily with a trainer and play Trivia on Tuesdays. I enjoy the people and the activities. I'm on Assisted Living and have all of my meals in the dining room. Great people here.

Walking in the receptionist was very pleasant, the sales director [name removed] showed me all areas of the community. While walking through we were greeted by multiple staff. The community is full of unique spaces including a stunning terrace. Many options in styles for apartments. Plus they have an age in place type of community.

Worst choice I ever made
They have a wonderful activities department. The facility is beautiful. Staff rarely interact with individuals , water at meals being provided at meals is inconsistent. In the last two months my Mom’s bedding was washed once in two months and she had three showers- they were offering them early in the morning before breakfast while she had been getting them at 10:00 without problems if they provided one. She frequently wore the same clothes morning and night for up to three days. They have dramatically raised rates - significantly higher than other homes.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a great tour experience - the community was so nice and clean and the apartments were extremely spacious. They had all nice kitchen appliances and countertops, the rooms were very well laid out but due to our loved ones health they would not be able to use all the kitchen appliances and take advantage of the amenities so it was just not going to be the best fit for them.

My review of Global Pointe
Clean and intimate setting the staff are open and welcoming. We love it here. They have activities like reading and discussions, sing along and movies that they bring in for the residents to watch and stay busy. They also have chair yoga and more.

We loved Global Pointe. Initially this was our first choice, it is a beautiful facility. After they assessed my dad no one ever got back to us and there was no follow up which was disappointing because we could really see my dad here.

Top Notch Place for My Parents
I believe that they care and try really hard to understand each individual and their care as well as their families. They send pictures of the activities my parents are doing. They go that extra step. Brand new place, my dad was the first resident in memory care. Rooms are really nice, the movers even commented that the rooms were larger than other communities they had been to. My parents really like the food, it is all cooked from scratch.
