Bright and Lively
The one thing I noticed throughout this community is the Sunshine illumination via the windows. This gave this facility a bright cheerful atmosphere. Also the staff and residents were friendly and full of life. This is a very clean community which offers plenty amenities. Brenda was knowledgeable in answering all of my questions honestly. She followed up to see how the family was doing as well. Unfortunately, there is a wait list; which actually says a lot about this community.

My family and loved one had a great experience with Mountain Park. The staff are attentive in their care and support of your loved one. The residents and staff are friendly. My Tour Experience at Mountain Park Senior Living
I liked that it was closer to central Phoenix but there were two things I didn't like
1) the sales lady spent more time talking about the community instead of trying to find out what my Moms needs were and
2) It smelled like a urine filled nursing home. And that was in an independent living side. The smell was horrible. I was afraid of what the assisted or memory care section smelled like.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
I have now had 2 visits, have decided on an apartment and am very much looking forward to my time at Mountain Park. I was VERY impressed with the staff, the obvious comrade of the staff and residents. And......many of the residents took time on their own initiative to tell me how much they liked living there. I am ready for the adventure and making new friends.

I love it here. I'm very comfortable, and I feel secure. It's very friendly. The food is pretty good but could be better. They have a lot of activities, and I like the water aerobics. I'm content here.

Beyond Our Expectations
We recently moved my mother In-law from OH.. She has memory issues so we had concerns with such a big move for her. Our expectations have been far exceeded. The staff are are so kind and always address her by her name which makes her feel important.. She is so busy now we have a hard time getting ahold of her. She is happier than we have seen her in years. She quickly made friends and has embraced all the daily activities they have going on.. It really is comforting knowing she is well taken care of when we are not there.

Enrolling my mother
The staff at this facility are among the friendliest I've come across. We were there on a followup visit to ask a few more questions and to ascertain unit availability. All of the questions were thoroughly answered helping my mother feel comforted by them. While we were there we met no less than 7 or 8 staff members who were all welcoming. We were also fortunate to find a newly available unit which suited my mother's needs perfectly and it became a straight forward choice to proceed with signing up. The sales staff went out of their way to get us great pricing. All in all it made my mother's transition to independent living the best experience.

Awesome Living Facility
My mom moved in a couple months ago and I visited her 2 weeks after her move in. She was at first hesitant making this move, however the staff and residents are so warm and friendly, all fears were removed. [name removed] and staff are very helpful, providing services and suggestions regarding simple things like how to get to doctor appointments or get medications. The facility provides a monthly calendar of daily activities offered such as exercise class, book readings, trips to stores for shopping, movie nights, and many, many more.
The facility is very safe, insuring guests sign in and masked up for COVID-19 protection.
The maintenance and front desk staff are remarkable. I sent mom a walker and the staff put it together for her and even customized it with her name and room number for easy identification.
Mom says the food is great! Many choices, with excellent portioning.
I couldn't be happier with mom's choice for a living facility.

Our Tour Experience
Our tour was excellent, and the sales person was great. I thought it was an excellent community. They pulled out a nurse and the Director of Assisted Living to speak with us. The experience with the staff was key. I asked every place that I visited how they would differentiate their community from the others. The sales person at Mountain Park said we could ask any of the residents here what they thought, and Mountain Park would stand behind what their residents say. Everyone seemed to really enjoy it there and want to be there, both the staff and the residents. The way they described the activities, I thought the activities director had clever ways to continue with activities in a Covid environment - things like Bingo over the phone, and Ted Talks where residents would talk about their hobbies or careers before they retired. I thought that was a great way to tap into the often hidden knowledge and wisdom of our seniors.

Continuing the Good Life
When we moved mom into Mountain Park Sr. Living, we loved the brand new building, beautiful decor, the special food offerings, but mostly the kind and caring services provided by the employees. Well, 10+ years later, to our surprise, we celebrated mom's 100th birthday at MPSL during a partial lockdown in the pandemic. She could not have had a more special birthday thanks to the activities staff, the dining staff and many others. She was serenaded, had a special birthday dinner and balloons and banners!! Who knew that 10+ years later, we as family, would continue to experience quality service in housekeeping, food service and delivery and caring, thoughtful staff.

Quality of care we couldn’t provide at home; and not a single resident has contracted COVID-19
My father has lived at Mountain Park for four years; three in assisted living and now one in memory care. It’s an indescribable relief every day to know he is safe and happy, particularly during the pandemic. He actually is spoiled rotten by the staff, who clearly are fond of him. Without any traces of condescension, they increase his personalized care as he requires. He isn’t interested in lunch? They get him his ever favorite dessert. He just wants to retreat to his apartment? They get music going so he enjoys some dancing first. The nurses, caregivers, activities director, concierges, cleaning staff, maintenance staff, and administrators all know him and me by name. He never wants for anything; they keep me posted on his every need and help me get those needs met. If I require assistance, they arrange doctors’ appointments, transportation, pharmacy deliveries, and just about everything else. I simply could not ask for more for my father. Mountain Park Senior Living is the best!

The perfect assisted living facility for our mother
Mountain Park was highly recommended by a close friend whose grandmother lived in their memory care section for 9 years. When we contacted Mountain Park for our mother, who could no longer live alone, the staff were so helpful in guiding us through the process, especially [name removed]. We were able to make the plans for our mother's transition over a couple of months and smoothly move her into the assisted living area. Our mother loves Mountain Park, the grounds, public areas and her studio which looks out on lovely blooming trees with South Mountain in the distance. We couldn't be happier because our mother is happy and we are confident in the staff's support and concern that has been so graciously and generously extended to us as we went through this process!
