An Outstanding Facility
It would be hard to overstate how impressed I am with the facility and the staff. Everyone is professional, friendly, and demonstrates a willingness to make residents comfortable. The marketing director has been particularly helpful and ma de a difficult move easier and more comfortable. The residents care director is very knowledgeable and responsive which gives me a high level off confidence that my daughter will be properly cared for. I would highly recommend Pacifica to anyone.

Good Decision!!
I have found everyone to be extremely helpful with helping me get my mom situated and comfortable in her new living arrangements. The staff is always there to answer any questions and help in any way they can. It's an open door policy which makes it feel more like a family. My mother loves her apartment and the cleanliness of the facility.
The nursing staff is always there to make sure my mother receives all her care. Just knowing that the staff has my mom's best interest in mind and goes above and beyond to make sure she's happy has taken a lot of pressure off of myself. I am thankful that my mom is in good, caring hands.

The staff members are nice, but there is just not enough and they have difficulty reaching out loved one by phone due to the staffing shortages. When it comes to the quality of care that is so far so good. We have never seen any meals, and there were no activities going on until recently. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families but with the understanding that communication can be difficult

Tour experience
My tour with Pacifica Senior Living Paradise Valley was terrible. I walked into their lobby. Nobody knew about our appointment. The lobby looked like it was a storage room with boxes and stuff stashed everywhere. I didn't get to have a tour because they stated they didn't know about my appointment.

I toured with Pacifica Senior Living Paradise Valley and it has two buildings. The rooms in one and meals and activities in the other. That set up was not going to work out well for our mother. Plus, there was no outdoor courtyard or area to sit enjoy the weather. These are the main reasons we did not choose Pacifica.

Mixed feelings
I chose this place due to the fact I thought it was an ideal setting for our loved one. I wish the administrative staff would stay in touch when loved ones contact them. I have tried to call the resident care director about upcoming appointments and concerns. It takes too long to hear back. I also was told that patients in memory care could have free cable TV in their rooms, only later to learn from someone else that is not true.
Please know that keeping in touch with family members is important in retaining your clients.

Outstanding memory care facility
In July, I unexpectedly was thrown into the world of memory care assisted living, and for those people who have had to experience this, it can be greatly overwhelming from the hospital to the behavioral health center to finding a safe reliable memory care assisted living facility that actually had an opening. Luckily, we found Pacifica Senior Living Paradise Valley and was able to place our loved one here.
We have been with Pacifica Senior Living for three months now. They have been and are still fabulous. Everyone we have been in contact with from Admin, Nursing, caretakers, maintenance, and front office are always pleasant. They meet our current needs and have demonstrated they truly care about their residents and the family of the residents. Truly a 5-star facility.

Facility was nice in the beginning. Right now they are having issues with staffing, meals and Covid doesn't help much. Other facilities are below this facility the other facilities I toured are near by not like Pacifica Senior Living.

I was referred to Pacifica at a time when I was at my wits end. The manager walked me through the process (paperwork, etc.) - she even took the time to come to my house and help me twice. I have a dear friend at Pacifica and I am also her POA. She has been a resident almost four years. The dedication to each and every resident is astounding. Administration, care staff and ancillary staff are helpful, professional and truly caring. Residents' physical needs, as well as emotional and social needs are met and tailored to each individual resident. Residents live in a home like atmosphere and are offered many different activities. This facility is beyond excellent. I would highly recommend Pacifica to both family and friends who are in need of a top notch memory care facility.

I can' say enough good words about Pacifica Memory Care! My husband has mid-stage dementia. We had an unusual situation in that at the beginning of the covid lock down, the home my husband was in for less than a month closed, and I had to find a new place for him. Of course he was free of the virus and Pacifica took us in during this difficult transition. He went from being at home in my care, to two different places in less than a month. Pacifica has been great!
