Our experience at Sagebrook
Most the staff is very friendly and caring. There is always one that is like a thorn, but that's expected. I didn't really have housekeeping as my loved one was here for about a month. The garbage was always taken out, but there wasn't really a lot to clean since she was in bed and not up and around. Communication was pretty good. The meals could be better. Of course, they were bringing my loved one blended foods because she was hardly eating. Overall, I would recommend this facility. I had actually talked to a resident that had been to several and lived at several facilities and she said this was the best one she had been at yet. The Executive Director [name removed] was wonderful working with me on trying to find a last-minute facility since my loved one was being exited from rehab due to insurance. She made things happen quickly and promised they would be able to take care of my loved one as a hospice patient. I also had hospice involved with her care, which helped.

Quality Care, Great Value
Overturn in staff has made communication a bit challenging but not a big issue and staff made effort to get information we needed. I am impressed with staff calm and ability to anticipate residents needs. When it comes to the activities, there is van outings, happy hours with music, and simple crafts. Based on our experience so far we would recommend the SageBrook Senior Living community to other families.

Take a second look. Try to talk to residents and not just the marketing people.
There were a lot of positives, but some negatives as well. If you have a loved one who is able to care for themselves for the most part, can move around on their own, and doesn't have memory issues, it would be a fine assisted living situation. But if they need any help remember things like going to dinner or if they have medical issues,
I would not recommend it. The staff were mostly friendly. There were some gals who were super nice and went out of their way to help my loved one, but of course they weren't there all the time. And they were pretty understaffed. We ended up finding a place with almost 1:1 care that was less expensive.

Our tour experience
Our family was able to have an in person tour and we really did like this facility. It was in a great location, and everyone we met with was nice, gracious and did a good job showing us around. We just decided to choose a different facility based one what was going to be the better fit for our loved one.

Took a tour on May 12th Very homey, close to Crossroads where they are used to shopping. Very welcoming staff and residents. Very clean facilities beautiful green surroundings older buildings not too many one-bedrooms in the independent living building.

Staff and managers meet the challenges of the 2020 pandemic
We originally chose Sagebrook for my mother because of the spacious rooms and grounds and the very accessible location. I have come to appreciate the staff and managers as well.
The pandemic of 2020 has presented many challenges for assisted living facilities. The staff and managers at Sagebrook have met all of these challenges and they have maintained a safe and rich environment for my mother. I appreciate all of their hard work and I would recommend Sagebrook.

Great Memory Care Unit
My mother has lived at Sagebrook 2 1/2 years. She has received safe, individualized care with lots of activities. The activity director has been outstanding to keep everyone engaged and to provide many compliments and praise to the residents. An example of activities include chair aerobics, puzzles, discussions, singing, artwork and decorating for special events. The administrative staff have kept us informed and provided several safe ways to stay in touch with our family members especially during Covid precautions. The facility is clean and food good. Rooms are spacious. My mom has many resident friends and has enjoyed her time here.

Caring Staff
I think they did the best they could do for my husband. Overall, it was good there and I had a good relationship with the supervisor. The communication was good, When he was declining, they called me frequently. I would recommend this community. I chose this community for its location which was near our friends. My husband had a close friend there and that helped and was comforting to him.

Not a happy place to live anymore!
Sagebrook is getting worse by the month. The dining food leaves much to be desired. There are few activities. Our staff have had a high turnover. Most of the residents are very unhappy with the way promises are not kept and the lack of service,

clean, quiet, residents seemed calm, happy and engaged. court yards open and landscaped nicely. Bedroom floor plans are open and large windows for bright light. Doors on bedroom and large closet space. open kitchen, plenty of cupboards. no AC in apartments. Need to pay for Wifi, residents need to do own laundry, but linens and towels changed out and cleaned.

Helpful Team
My aunt was living on her own and was in a position where she needed additional care.
The staff at Sagebrook helped us when we had no clue where to begin.
They responded immediately providing us with options and helped us find the perfect apartment for our aunt. She’s loves her new apartment and when we visit, the staff calls us by name, it really feels just like a family.
It’s a Smaller community with a homelike feel with a lot of caring people and pets are welcome too!
With this team, my aunt is in good hands!

This Was Our Second Choice
We toured quite a few communities and this was our 2nd choice on our list. However, the location was not ideal for us and the memory care unit was not on a high enough floor so my husband could look outside. However, the staff was friendly and kind. The community was clean and looked well maintained.

My mother was cared for with the utmost kindness and professionalism and with a smile on the staff’s faces always. This is the best! The staff and management are like family! The apartment was spotless and comfortable. It does not seem like any assisted living place as it is homey and has beautiful mature plants, trees and flowers with 2 giant sunny courtyards equipped with comfy over sized outdoor furniture. The chef and stuff produce restaurant quality (fresh and local) food! And, the price and rent was not exorbitant. [Removed] runs a first class place, and he is exceptional at his job! Sage brook has a “happy” feel the minute you enter. The staff creates this presence.

We were looking for assisted living and our daughter who lives near here felt we would be comfortable and safe here. She have only been here for 3 months but feel this is our new family. She enjoy the facility, the surrounding area and the people who work here. Their friendliness and helpfulness make this a great place to live out our final year.

Great activities and events!!
I am very impressed with this community and am pleased on how involved my mother in law has gotten with the different activities and events. She really likes the wine tasting and cheese nights and exercise classes that the staff bring on campus for all of the residents.The facility is always very well maintained and kept clean every time I visit. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone looking into retirement.
