My mother is a resident for two and a half years. Harbor House is warm and nurturing facility. The residents are well taken care. The activities provide entertainment and foster comradery.

From the first day, Mom & I were greeted by the staff . She made me feel very comfortable about me leaving mom here. Recreation, arts and craft, music, dancing. Mom is encouraged to join all and enjoys when she does.

Harbor House has been a God send for our family. My mom and my aunt are thriving and we are so grateful! Thank you to the staff for the love and car that's provided.

Mom has been a resident for nearly a year and a half. Staff are always friendly, fun activities. They truly care for their residents.

THey make the best of it. Keep them busy. Alot of smiles.

We are very, very please with Harbor House. The care our mom receives is consistently very good. The staff are concerned, helpful and readily available. We are very satisfied and happy our mom is at Harbor House.

Harbor House has been a wonderful place for my father. The staff is attentive, warm and kind. There are daily activities with wonderful activity directors to engage everyone. My father is very happy here.

HH is extremely well kept. Neat & tidy, including common areas, rooms private. Food is very good. Staff is patient & good natured. Activities are varied & interesting. No complaints. P.S. I read the above review to my sister and she agreed with each point.

We are satisfied and happy with our selection. We think our loved one is feeling more at home as time goes on. The staff is very responsive though, and I do feel they know my loved one and care for them.

From what my mom has said, the staff is very friendly and the residents are welcoming and outgoing. My mom has always lacked social engagement and she has been engaging and socializing with people her own age so that has been great for her. I have not tried the food but my mom says it is poor. One of the main reasons we chose this facility was because they do take Medicaid, so if/when mom runs out of money, she will be able to stay here and just downgrade apartments. I would recommend Oyster Bay Manor and Harbor House to other families.

I highly recommend Adirondack Manor's food! It is very favorable, but always low sodium. It has a wide variety of foods. The Chef, [name removed] is amazing! All food is made with love for the residents.

The Adirondack Manor has an incredible homey feel. All of the staff treat the residents just like family and go the extra mile to make sure they are well taken care of. They come in on their days off to make sure there is enough staff to bring them for haircuts, they take them on hopping trips and make each person feel special in all kinds of ways. I can't forget to mention the cooks Ribs and baked chicken are absolutley amazing. Holiday meals are always extra special too. The residents really enjoy cooking out with staff!! its also shocking how their entire nursing team is almost fully staffed and they never work short handed.

The staff has been excellent. They take my loved one down to meals to make sure they eat. This has been an excellent experience for us and my loved one. The staff are always willing to talk to me if I have any questions or concerns I have. There is a hair salon on site.

The reason we chose Bayview was definitely for the value, it is completely worth it you get what you pay for. The activities are back open and our loved one is really happy with everything they are offering.

It is a warm caring place. It is worth considering for your loved one. Their willingness to communicate with the family stands out to me. My loved one likes to be busy with the lovely activities; I just wish there were more for them to do,

Our family has had an amazing experience so far, we came from a really bad experience and Harbor House has been amazing from top to bottom. They are angles the way they care for our loved one and they way to handle our family. The accessibility is great, she is getting the best care possible. We love how it is a family own and operated place, it has just been a wonderful experience.

I have found it to be positive. I think that their expertise with memory care is an asset, because that's the only thing they attend to here- there aren't other types of care, like assisted living for instance. So they really understand the challenges. I feel the staff has does the best they can during Covid. Sometimes there's a disconnect in communication, but they're very receptive when I do call and ask questions, and when I'm addressing any concerns. My only feeling is I wish they were more proactive in reaching out to the families to give more feedback on how things are going, just because of the situation right now.

This is a great place the people are friendly and the staff go out of their way to help you feel at home.

I had no problem with the tour that I got. During the tour I was offered a meal or snack but I turned it down because it was not necessary. Nothing was wrong with the community, it just wasn't for us.
